IT Project Manager – Telco BSS

For one of our clients in the telecommunications sector and located in Brussels, we are looking for an IT Project Manager.

Mission context

A new transformation initiative has begun in the CRM area to modernize Legacy CRM Applications. The goal is to mitigate obsolescence and improve the experience and security for our customers. The consultant will be an experienced Project Manager with technical knowledge in Telco BSS (Business Support Systems) and proven experience in IT delivery with several large external vendors on significant projects.

Main tasks to execute

• Organize various meetings with all stakeholders (IT, Suppliers, Business) according to the program governance in place.
• Identify program risks and take necessary actions to reduce and/or mitigate them.
• Monitor the quality of operations, support change management, and drive improvement plans.
• Oversee technical implementation until the MTP (Milestone Target Plan), including the testing phase, and take all necessary actions to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and with quality.
• Coordinate all tasks outlined above and communicate their status on the designated platform following the established process.
• Manage the program budget to ensure it remains within the validated budget limits.

Experience

• University degree with at least 10 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in IT Program Management, ideally within the Telco environment.
• Previous IT roles to strengthen project management capabilities.
• Experience in managing partners for successful delivery.

Requirements

• Knowledge of systems used in Telco BSS is a plus.
• Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Telco Billing Systems, Telco Order Management Systems, Telco Contact Center.
• System Integration: API (Web Services), system connectivity, security, etc.
