Purchasing Interim Manager

As Corporate Purchasing Manager, you will oversee procurement related to various Corporate departments and shared services, as well as transversal indirect external expenditures across broad Group scopes.

Duration: Mission starting end of May, for a period to be defined (replacement)

To do this, you must:
• Acquire expertise and define the purchasing strategy for each category;
• Anticipate market trends through continuous monitoring and benchmarking;
• Set up framework agreements, ensure their implementation, and follow up regularly (e.g., monitoring annual rebates granted);
• Select and optimize a diverse panel of suppliers with a constant focus on competitiveness (securing sources, optimizing performance, controlling costs — price, cash, and total cost of ownership);
• Provide regular reporting through KPIs;
• Define rules, procedures, and tools for your purchasing categories and ensure they are properly applied.

Main categories involved:
• Travel / Hotels / Car rentals
• Temporary staffing & capacity subcontracting (in collaboration with HR)
• Energy
• Specialized external services
• Real estate and facility-related purchases (in collaboration with the Facility department)
• IT and telecom purchases
• Fleet-related contracts (in collaboration with the Fleet Manager)
• Supplies and consumables

You will be a member of the Group Purchasing Committee.
You will monitor and report on travel-related expenditures, manage the interface with the Travel Management Company, and maintain relations with the network of travel bookers.
You will also contribute to the development of related policies (e.g., travel policy).

Key figures for the role:
Indirect external expenditures of the Group amounting to approx. €120M, of which around 50% are addressable by this function.

Requirements:
• You have a higher education degree or equivalent professional experience
• You have at least 10 years of experience in indirect procurement within a multicultural and international environment
• Strong command of English
• Experience in the travel sector is a plus
